When Kim learns the Bolton twins spiked her husband's drink at a pub and seduced him, she agrees to join Sharon's netball team so she can thrash them. After Kim stops smoking and gains so much weight she can no longer fit into her bridesmaid dress, she and her mother have a major blowup.
When Kath gets stood up by Kel, she worries he's losing interest, so she updates her look. Kim's "treat him mean, keep him keen" philosophy backfires. Desperate to raise some fast cash to reserve her pumpkin-style coach for the wedding, Kath hosts a pyramid-scheme lingerie party in her home.

Meanwhile, Sharon recalls a fateful day in the '80s when she introduced Kim to her date. Forced to move in with Kath and Kel, Kim and Brett try to finagle a way into a home of their own again. Meanwhile, Sharon dates a couple of new men. Kath and Kel are forced to put up with Gary's shenanigans until he signs the divorce papers.
Meanwhile, Kim is blind to her father's dodgy character. During a day at the races, Kath and Kim mingle with celebs while Sharon hits it off with a jockey. Brett stumbles upon a way to boost his sales at work. Kim learns Brett will soon inherit his dying mother's penthouse and goes on a shopping spree. Kath tries to reconnect with friends she's neglected. To lose weight, Kim signs up for a boot camp run by drill sergeant Sharon. Kath talks Kel into joining her in a local musical production of "The Hours.
Kim agrees to give Sharon an extreme makeover in preparation for a coffee date with a co-worker. A home theater upgrade makes Kath obsessed with TV. To earn extra cash, Kath and Kel star in a TV ad. Sharon turns a case of road rage into road joy, inadvertently helping Kim to find the perfect job.
When Kim decides to have Epponnee christened, Sharon runs herself ragged to prove she's worthy of being named godmother. Kel has a midlife crisis. Kim and Brett argue over a possible show biz career for Epponnee, sparking imaginings of what life in their household might look like in 20 years. When Kim finds out Brett has behaved badly, she makes him pay dearly. Kath and Kel consider buying a new home.

User reviews 18 Review. Top review. Lighthearted and Fun. Fabulous lighthearted funny movie! It's not serious, watch it for what it is. Has a number of "in" jokes. Great script writing! I think it's probably most suited to Australian audiences, though the beginning of the movie does get you up to speed.
